DOES IT FIT? / SETUP NOTES
Which iPhones actually send video?
The important exceptions hiding behind “USB-C compatible.”
A USB-C-shaped port is not enough. Apple documents wired DisplayPort output on iPhone 15 models, iPhone 16 models except 16e, and iPhone 17 models except 17e. Check the exact model under Settings → General → About before choosing a kit.
What this finder verifies
- iPhone 15 and 16 mainstream families: both catalogue glasses have documented routes. The 16e is excluded.
- iPhone 17 / Pro / Pro Max: the XREAL One route is documented. RayNeo Air 3s stays unverified for this family because the exact-model list used here stops earlier.
- iPhone 16e and 17e: no supported direct-wired setup. A charging adapter cannot add missing video output.
- iPhone Air and Lightning models: no verified complete route in this catalogue. We do not guess an adapter chain.
Plug in, then check the app
Use the glasses’ supplied display cable. For charging, add the matching adapter and a suitable existing USB-C PD power supply. Mirroring is a display connection, not a promise that every streaming app will play externally. Test the services you care about within the retailer’s applicable return period.
XREAL One provides native screen anchoring. A basic RayNeo Air 3s wired setup does not promise that feature. No kit here turns an iPhone into a full VR system.
